Weldon Island Recreation Area

Season: Park is open May 1 - Sept. 9. Note: Hattons Ford launching ramp (located just outside of Weldon Island Recreation Area) is open year-round.
Park Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing or boat launching

Directions: Weldon Island is located in Anderson County, South Carolina. From I-85, take Exit 4 (turn to the east) - Old Dobbins Bridge Road, take a right on Andersonville Road and follow the brown directional signs. Hattons Ford ramp is located at the end of Andersonville Road.

Amenities: Launching ramp, restrooms, picnic area, picnic shelter (reservable!), courtesy dock.
Fees: $3 fee per vehicle for boat launching; picnic shelter can be reserved in advance for $50.
